This little pizzeria is easy to miss on Notre Dame Street West, but once you've had a slice at Adamo, you'll be coming back for more.  It's a neighborhood secret that is quickly becoming popular.

Located in a very trendy part of St Henri, this pizzeria is surrounded by other popular eateries :  Arthurs Nosh Bar (brunch spot), Rustique Pies, and Dalla Rose.

As you open the front door to Adamo, you're instantly wrapped in the delicious aroma of tomato sauce and pizza dough.  The actual eating area is small, but still roomy enough for people to stand and eat at counters on either side of the room, or sit at the big square table located in the middle of the room.

At the serving counter, there are beautiful wood-encased glass displays which hold the delicious New York style pizza slices and calzones that are available for sale.  The types of pizza are written on the glass itself.   As you look deeper into the room, you can also see the kitchen hard at work.

You can order a slice to devour IMMEDIATELY, or buy an entire pizza.  With individual slices costing less than $4, why not try more than one slice ?   The selection varies, but these were the toppings we chose from :
                 -   tomato basil
                 -   cheese
                 -   pesto
                 -   rapini & ricotta
                 -   ham & cheese
                 -   pepperoni
                 -   capicollo
                 -   sun-dried tomato
& ricotta

                 =   calabrese

Although the slices are thin, don't be misled.  Each slice is huge.  The toppings are plentiful and tasty, while the crust is crisp, slightly charred, and full of flavor.   There are hot sauces at the counters, for those who want more sizzle.   Cold soft drinks or a cold Brio go perfectly with that slice of heaven.   Just fold it and enjoy !

As people who love our pizza, we highly recommend this place -- it's great eats in a unique rustic settting.

You WILL have cravings for this place.
