Although there are many locations throughout Montreal for this breakfast restaurant, we feel two are worth mentioning because of their friendliness and dining environment.   They are the locations in Laval and in Ville St. Laurent.  

The Ville St. Laurent location is recently opened, and has a bright and roomy dining area.   Located in a new shopping mall, there's lots of parking.  The Laval location is a fun and busy location, with very friendly staff.  The hostess is always warm and accommodating.   They're located in the Ste. Dorothée shopping mall off highway 13, so they've got a lot of parking.  As their popularity grows, more locations are popping up everywhere throughout Montreal.

The portions are quite substantial, and most breakfast plates come with their home fries and a bowl of fresh fruit.

• Eggs Benedict Gaspécienne     :  2 poached eggs on an English muffin, topped with hollandaise sauce, smoked                                                       salmon & capers, and served with fresh fruit, home fries, baked beans 

  

• Eggs Benedict Carbonara        :  2 poached eggs on an English muffin, topped with béchamel sauce, bacon,                                                            and shallots, and served with fresh fruit, home fries, baked beans

• Spinach & Cheddar crepe        :  a big thin spinach crepe, stuffed with delicious gooey cheddar cheese

I think everyone should order the Montérégie "Special of the House" combo at least once in their lifetime.  It's 2 eggs cooked as you'd like, with a choice of either bacon/ham/sausage/bologna, home fries, baked beans, toast, AND ..... a half waffle topped with sweet sliced apples, English cream, caramel, and cinnamon.   Just when you think you can't eat anymore, you find room for that delicious waffle.  Come on, it's dessert.... after breakfast.
