This fish market/eatery has become well known on the West Island for its super fresh fish and seafood, and for its catering services.  It's located in a small strip mall along Sources Boulevard, just north of the Trans-Canada Highway.

Not only can you get the freshest seafood, you can even have them prepare it for you to eat onsite, or to bring home.  You can also call in your order, and just pick it up.  Their delicious grilled vegetables and rice are great ready-to-eat accompaniments to make your meal complete.

There's a section at the front of the establishment, for those who would like to eat onsite.  Although we have not yet tried them, we've seen other tables ordering deep fried calamari and fish tacos.  The servings looked huge.   On the day we visited, there was many pick-up orders.

 

We've had their fish and chips, and their fish platters.  Because you are choosing from the freshest fish, the fish and chips are amazing.  The fish is juicy and sweet, and the fries are freshly made.

For the fish platter we had, we chose fresh porgy, and ate onsite.  Together with the mound of rice, marinated mushrooms, and slices of grilled zucchini, eggplant, red peppers, yellow peppers, and asparagus, we were absolutely stuffed.  The fish was deboned and butterflied, and then cooked to perfection.  Cooked under the salamander grill, the seasoned fish had a nice coating, but was still moist.  The accompanying vegetables were grilled and savory.

Doctors say that you should include more fish in your diet.  With the convenience of this store, there's no reason why you can't.
