This Greek restaurant has 3 locations :  one in the heart of Park Extension, another in Laval, and one in the Marché de l’Ouest shopping center in DDO.    The DDO location is nicely decorated,  and has the added bonus of ample parking.   Each location has great food.

The restaurant is decorated very nicely, with blue & white tablecloths, and beautiful photographs on the walls.   The high ceilings and huge window looking out to the parking lot gives the dining area a sense of roominess.    Tables are spaced generously, to allow privacy to customers.    The dining room is split by the front entrance, so you have a choice of which dining room to go.

The menu contains a lot of Greek favorites, along with some unique dishes.   All their grilled items are excellent.    There’s even excellent Greek beer.  There are typical platters, but we’ve always gone a la carte.

For appetizers, we tried their Greek salad, which is a big bowl of fresh tomatoes with crunchy cucumbers and onions, and crumbled feta.  We’ve ordered the outstanding grilled octopus, which is a plate of tender grilled octopus pieces served with tomatoes and peppers.   

The Greek potatoes are slightly roasted, with a lemony twist.   The grilled chicken is a big plate of tender,  grilled chicken pieces, marinated to perfection.    The grilled lamb chops, although very tasty, were a little scant for actual meat and quantity on the plate.    The grilled fish is a grilled, de-boned, and butterflied  fish, with the head still on.    If you’re squeamish, you may want to ask them to remove the head before serving.   

To finish off the eat fest, we ordered the Loukamades.   For those who are unfamiliar with Greek cuisine, Loukamades are similar to donut balls, but these are much lighter and less greasy.   They’re also served piping hot with a topping of honey and cinnamon.   They’re sweet, they’re puffy, and you’ll be fighting for each piece (no matter how full you think you are).
