What a meal !

This great little burger place has got it all. More and more locations seem to be opening in Montreal : one on Sherbrooke Street in NDG, another is downtown on De Maisonneuve, and a recent one in a mall on Cote Vertu Road in Ville St. Laurent, and recently a location in Pointe Claire.

The decor and vibe is fun and lively. The place on Cote Vertu is beautifully decorated, with dark woods, brick, and glass. The bar area is spectacular. With high ceilings, the place is deep if not wide. In the summer, the restaurant offers a terrace.

The place primarily offers burgers, but there is a wide variety of burger to choose from. You can have their delicious beef in 3 oz/6 oz/9 oz sizes, or there's also chicken, vegetarian, an all-beef kosher hot dog, a veggie dog, or fried chicken. There's even a very good platter of fish and chips.
For buns, you can choose their fresh buns, or the onion buns, or opt for a lettuce wrap. For sides, you can choose from homecut fries, sweet potato fries, amazing onion rings, poutine, or an appetizer called Menage à Trois. That's a platter of fries, potato skins, and onion rings. They're all good.

We've had their Thou Shalt Bacon burger a few times, and it's our favorite. It's two 3oz/6oz/9oz beef patties, double bacon, double cheddar, ketchup, and mayo. The burgers are juicy and tasty, and grilled to perfection. Plus how can you go wrong with double bacon ?

The BG (Bloody Good) Classic burger is a 6oz beef patty, topped with lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, and secret sauce. Very tasty and classic. There's also a new burger that is featured every month.

To boot, you can always add a fried egg on top of any burger to make the mess complete. Other extra toppings include goat cheese, caramelized onions, salami, avocado, grilled pineapple, and blue cheese.

For those who aren't feel carnivorous, there's the delicious fish and chips. They're served with the delicious fries and salad. What sets this dish apart from your normal fish and chips is the batter. It has a bit of kick to it, but it pairs wonderfully with the fries and salad.

Brunch lasts from 10:00 to 3:00 on weekends only, and they offer a good selection of items. Our favorite is the Simply Classic, which is 2 eggs, latke, grilled salami or bacon, served with baked beans and challah toast. All that for under $10.

Stop by for a drink, for a meal, or for brunch.
