This BYOW restaurant is one of our favorites. There are many locations throughout Montreal and Laval, but we've been frequenting the West Island location for years. It's located inside a big strip mall, so there's never a problem to find parking. It's conveniently located right off the Trans-Canada highway.

All the locations are bring-your-own-wine restaurants, and the West Island location, in particular, is spacious. Tables are generously spaced, and the ceiling is high. It can accommodate any number of customers, and is great for group gatherings. The staff is very friendly, and service is quick.

If you love mussels & fries, this is the place for you. They’ve got a 8 different sauces to choose from, ranging from savory Provençal to an original Madagascar sauce of cognac, cream, and green peppercorns. Either way, the amount of mussels in your bowl is enormous. You can even switch the home fries for steamed vegetables if you’re minding your calories.

We usually order the Scallopini Duo Pépé, which is a veal cutlet in a 2-peppercorn sauce. The veal is thin and tender, and the sauce (made of cream, cognac, and pink & green peppercorns) is creamy and colorful. It’s served with vegetables and a side of pasta, which is perfect for sopping up the extra sauce. It's a feast for the eyes, and a delight for your belly.
Their pastas are pretty good as well, and there is a big selection to choose from, ranging from the authentic Spaghetti Carbonara to the unusual Linguini Con Lumache, which is snails in a garlic cream with sun dried tomatoes and basil.

Prices are very good. Unlike other places, the lunch specials apply every day of the week, including weekends, which makes it a great place to spend a relaxing afternoon. On top of all that, the lunch prices apply for dinner from Sunday to Wednesdays.

Depending on the day of week, there are specials that apply to all their veal dishes, mussel dishes, and pasta dishes. At the time of this article, all their veal and chicken dishes would be a discounted price at any time on Thursdays, while other days have lowered prices for their pasta dishes and mussel dishes.
There’s ample parking, the restaurant stays open all day till late, the food & atmosphere is great, AND it’s a BYOW place. How can you not love this place ?
