We rediscovered this Greek restaurant recently, and have bringing family and friends ever since.   Conveniently located in a tiny mall on L’Acadie Boulevard, in front of the Marché Centrale, it has lots of parking and can easily be reached from highway 40 or Cote Vertu.

We love their grilled chicken !    Just the thought of their juicy and moist charcoal-grilled chicken makes us return over and over again.   Squeeze a little lemon juice on it, and you’ll feel like you're feasting in Santorini.

The restaurant has expanded to 2 units of the mall, making the dining areas spacious.   Tables are well spaced, and arrangements can easily be made to accommodate groups of people.   The service is quick and friendly, and the food arrives amazingly fast.

We have been there for lunch and for dinner, and still have so much more to try on their menu.   When ordering anything other than the souvlaki platters, the plates arrive family-style, and are placed in the middle for everyone to share.

On a recent visit, we ordered a large platter of calamari, a large bowl of tzatziki, a large serving of rice, and a large Greek salad, all followed by a full order of their famous grilled chicken.

The tzatziki was arrived almost immediately, and was tangy and garlicky.    It went so well with their toasted bread, which we had to resist from finishing with the tzatziki.  The calamari platter was huge, with super crisp calamari rings that were fresh and not greasy.   The breading was light without any hint of oil.   The Greek salad arrived shortly afterwards, and the platter of fresh vegetables went perfectly with the calamari.   Beautiful mixed greens were topped with firm tomato cubes, red & green pepper slices, cucumber, and 3 generous slabs of feta.

When the platter of fragrant grilled chicken arrived, we had to gasp.   It looked and smelled amazing.   Every piece of chicken was perfectly seasoned, and was plump and moist.    We were in full-blown feast mode.   You MUST order this chicken if/when you visit this restaurant.

Another thing that must be ordered, not matter how full you think you are, is their galaktoboureko dessert.  Galaktoboureko is a Greek dessert 'cake' made of semolina custard wrapped in phyllo.   It's made in a large pan, and is served in single slabs drenched in sweet syrup.   It can't be found in most Greek restaurants, so try this dessert.  With a nice coffee at the end of your meal, you'll sit back and bask in the memories of the great meal you just enjoyed.
