This trendy St. Henri diner is located on Notre Dame West, a block or two away from the Atwater Market.   It's hard to miss when you walk or drive by.   Its stainless steel panels and retro signage are reminiscent of the diners from the 1950's.

When you go inside, the dining room is bright and welcoming.   Although space is limited, the floor-to-wall mirrors make the place seem roomier.   The beautiful black and white theme is fresh and clean.

The food is French-inspired, and unique.  You can add foie gras to any appetizer, brunch, or main course (hence the wacky name).    The honey they serve and sell is from hives located on the rooftop of the restaurant.

Our visit was during the weekend, within its brunch hours of 9:30 to 3:30.  Brunch is also available on Fridays from 10:00 to 3:00.   There were so many delicious menu items to choose from.

At the end, we had the warm ratatouille tartelette, which was warmed ratatouille and goat cheese wrapped in a flaky pastry nest and topped with their signature 64-degree fried egg.  We also had the Smoked Salmon and Creme Fraiche Rosti, topped with fish roe, dill, and fried capers.  This was decadently delicious.

The real gem was the Homemade Truffle Spaghetti, tossed in butter and topped with the 64-degree fried egg and shaved parmesan cheese.  It's rich & buttery, and full of truffle flavor.   An absolute MUST !

The place stays open till late, and offers different cocktails and beers.  Whatever the time of day, this diner is worth a visit.   Its decor will impress you, and its food will amaze you.   It's definitely a place to bring someone you want to impress.
