This relaxed Italian restaurant is a great place for a nice dinner out with family or friends.  Its informal and friendly atmosphere make it a perfect place for lunch or dinner.  Located on the West Island, in the Galeries des Sources shopping mall, there’s ample parking, with several other eateries (Marathon Souvlaki and Elixor) and a Guzzo movie theatre closeby.  

The restaurant has a nice bar section, which is a good meeting place for drinks.  On hockey nights, the bar can be a lot of fun.   The 5 big screens broadcast the Canadiens games, and they even offer pizzas at special prices on those nights.

There’s a lot of selection in the menu, and you can choose from salads and soups, to pasta, to wood-oven pizzas.   We’ve had their Funghi Misti pizza, which is amazing.  Thin crusted pizza Is layered with Portobello mushrooms and mozzarella, and topped with arugula and shaved parmesan cheese.  It is so light, yet filling.  Their plain Margherita may be simple as far as ingredients go, but the flavor of the dough and sauce make it a great choice.

Their pasta dishes are plentiful, and their grill platters are just as big.   We’ve had their Romanoff Del Friscos and their Fruitti Di Mare pasta dishes.   As delicious as they were, we’ve had to bring more than half home in a takeout container.  On a recent visit, we were served a super efficient and friendly waiter, Sebastian.  We had the daily fish special as well as regular menu items.

This place is perfect for a romantic dinner, a simple meal out with friends or family, a 5 à 7 place for drinks, or a fun place on game night.
